due sept 8th born july 13th

So I wasn't due until sept the 8th and he came via c-section on july 13th. I can't believe I am a mom now and we made it. English Isaiah was 2 pounds and 7oz 15 inches long and is doing great breathing on his own and taking feedings very well. I thank you all for your prayers and thoughts

Aww, do you have any pictures? did they tell you how long hes going to be in there?

I was due around the same date as you. They gave me 3 days. The 4th,6th and 9th. But thats awesome that he is breathing on his own, and is taking feedings well. As im sure they have told you that there will be good and bad days in the nicu you. My baby has to be taken off feeding complety twice. But yours weighed a lot more then mine. Mine was olny 1 pound 13 oz. But your baby is doing great. Just hang in there. He will be home sooner then you think.

When mine was in the NICU they didnt feed her for 7 days, and then took her off of feeding 4 times, for 24 - 48 hours.

She's home now though!

My son was due Sept 4, 2007 and I delivered him on July 20, 2007. I am glad he is doing well. I hope he gets to come home soon.

Yeah they took her off feeding twice already because of a loopy belly. She had to get a blood transfusion too and was negtive for all infections but they still gave her anitbotics. Now she is 9mls every hour. Next step for her is to be back on 3 hour feeds.

I was going through some problems with my kidneys and my numbers really dropped so before I was in full blown kidney failure they decided to take him at 31 weeks and 6 days. I will try to post pics as soon as I get out of the hospital

The NICU my daughter was in gave her MRSA.

I am SO SO glad she is home now.

Did you have pre-eclampisa. I had it and it lead to hellps or whatever and my kidneys were also failing and my platlete count was low. They took mine at 28 weeks and i had to get a blood transfusion but your baby is doing great!

oh wow im so glad you guys are okay, yeah this girl i met was in the hospital with twins who were premature like your son from her having kidney failure and gallbladder infection. They made it though, gorgeous babies

awww, i'm so sorry about your kidneys! i've had kidney problems during the pregnancy but not that severe, i feel for you!

i'm so glad that your little man is alright!
