OMG Zits

I have never EVER in my life had ance. Not even as a teenager. I didn't have ance with my boys either but this pregnancy I am having some ance only one or two pimples but they are driving me nuts. Any advice to help me get rid or cope with the ance? I'm completely clueless. Thanks Ladies

unfortunately nothing I do helps. I tried every brand of every cream, scrub, exfoliater, moisturizer...everything. Nothing worked for me. Sorry. It does clear up soon after the baby is born though.

The same thing happend to me! I've never had acne and now i do. its not too terribly bad like some people i know but to me it seems awful b/c ive never had it before.

Well once they pop up, put toothpaste on them! I did it when I'd go to bed, just a little bit, and it seemed to help!

Really? I heard it helped with hickeys but never zits lololol I'll keep that in mind

Since it's just hormonal acne, don't go overboard on the creams & lotions & potions. You will just irritate your skin causing more breakouts. Keep doing your normal routine. It will go away in time.

Yeah, someone told me it dries them out....?? Worked for me, it'sworth a shot! I also became super anal about washing my face at least twice a day. I noticed a decrease then too. My acne went down though after the first trimester, I think.....and I was like you, where I never had any before.

Well i have them preety bad..But im using PROACTIVe...wich its kinda helping tho..because its just hormoal you knw!
Maybe you should try it!

I'm kinda on a tight budget that stuff quite expensive

I use Bare Escentuals make up which is really good for your skin and provides good cover up for your imperfections. Also, I wash my face religiously with cetaphil, its really gentle and moisturizing and it helps keep your skin balanced. My sister works for a dermatology company and she said using harsh cleansers can make things worse. Go buy some Bare Minerals and you'll feel better. Also, they have a lot of light reflecting stuff in the them, so even in my first trimester when I was throwing up everyday and I'd never looked so haggard in my life people told me I was glowing.

you can call and get for the first time for like 19.99...its noa big bottle tho..but at least you can see how you do.

I had it bad with my first but this time I have not had a problem just a few here and there but I also use PROACTIVE which seems to help out.

My chin is full of pimples nowand they have never been this bad. usually i might get some every couple of months but now everyday more pop up. I have just been using regular body wash when im in the shower to clean my face or any kind of soap when im out and it seems to be working b/c they are finally getting better. Once I started using soap to clean my chin at least once a day (or bodywash) they started going down almost immediately and make sure you use hot water b/c that helps bring the dirt out of your pores.

Having the same problem here. Never had this problem with my first two kids either. I talked to myob about it and they prescribed me some Cleocin - T. She said that it might get worse before it gets better. You may want to ask about it at your next visit and see what they say.

FYI, I know proactiv is great for a lot of people, but if you have sensitive skin (like me), stay away. It irritated my skin so bad and caused way more breakouts. My skin didn't clear up until I stopped using it.

Now I use Philosophy and I LOVE IT! So gentle and works great!
