What is up with him?

posted 22nd Jul
my son has NOT been taking naps he will only take really short ones so in total about 45 min a day in naps.. He's only 4 months and he just started doing this. He wakes up 2 times a night now when he used to sleep through the night. He looks so sleepy and is always rubbing his eyes and gets very fussy.

What's up?! I am so lost.

He's probably teething, my son was like that when he was teething. He a lot of trouble sleeping. Even now when he starts to teeth, he gets really cranky and hates sleeping.

I thought it may be that... I just wish he'd take a long nap he is really not acting like himself.

Try putting a lil gel on his gums a lil bit before you put him down for nap

It could be teething and i hear babies become more aware around this age and they want to learn and dont have time to eat or sleep. but my daughter is opposite!! she takes like 10 naps a day and still eats every 2 hours and she is 4 1/2 months old. also are you feeding him enough at night before you put him to bed?? i know my friend had to start feeding her boya little extra at night to keep him asleep. even if you have to slip a little cereal in his bottle and that will fill him up more too! I know my dr says not to bottle feed cereal but if you want to spoon feed him then whatever is left over bottle feed i think that would be ok.
