I would imagine that the baby will grow close to whom ever she's around more, no matter if the parent is a teenager or 50 years old. But the bond between mother and child is irreplaceable.

No it's not true but don't take advantage of your mom helping you out. Spend as much time with your baby as you can while you keep it together and finish school!!!

You'll be a good mom if you show everyone that although you're having this baby so young you can still achieve something for yourself and your son.

Goodluck lil mama!

No, my mom was my daycare provider for the 15 months it took me to finish school after Jerzee was born, but he was close to his dad more than my mom...

No one can every replace a child's mother, but I their bond will be different than a bond between and child and grandma that don't see each other as often.

i went to school while i was pregnant with my son and my daughter stayed home with her grandparents. she always wanted to be with me, so it didn't make a difference. i was finally able to get her into the daycare at my school though & i loved having her there.

I am worried about the same thing. After 3 months of maternity leave, I will have to take my child to some daycare or babysitter or something(possibly my mother in law) and I don't want my baby to be around someone else more than me, but think about the times when you get your baby, and your feeding your baby, and bathing, and massaging, and showing your baby all the attention you have. The baby will feel that connection and know your mommy, so don't be scared.
