News on how my induction is going!!

Hey everyone, well as some of you know I went in Sunday at midnight to be induced! Well about 1:00am they put a cervadil (sp?) in (suppose to soften cervix) takes 12 hrs to work! So I sat around, can't eat, peeing every second, miserable! Around 1:15PM they took it out and checked me. I was half a cm   they let me eat and at 4:30PM they would start me on a pill that brings on contractions(I've been having contractions, I just wasn't opening up) well I take the pill. Everything going good, contractions getting stronger! They check me at about 9 and I was at 1cm! So they decided at midnight they would try the cervadil (sp?) again! They place it in again and I'm off to be with the help of an ambien!! They check me this morning and I'm real soft but only dialated to 1 in a half cm! Now just waiting to see what the doctor wants to do next!! (Yesterday(7-21) was a hard day for me. I just wanted everthing to be done with. Crying crying and more crying) I'll keep everyone updated with more news!! Thanks!! I hope today I have him!! He's one stubborn son of a gun!!!

good luck mama, hopefully you get started on pitcion and then you should dilate, good luck hope you have that baby soon

Good luck sweetie. They have to get your cervix ready with the cervadil or else you could end up with a C section because you didn't dilate. I hope all goes well. You will have a baby soon! YAY! I'll be thinking of you today, keep us posted.

Wow, thats insane, he really does not want to come out huh.

"wow i didnt know inductions took that long" must agree with Sara 12345. Inductions shouldnt take that long. I would want the doctor to come and examine me and get it over soon. I have been induced twice and it really sped things up.

Because he is gonna be a big baby!! To everyone else....thanks!!! Just alittle more info.. I was completely closed at my 39wk appt. So that's why I think they have me on cervadil! They said once I hit 2cm they will break my water to get things rolling!!

Hope it goes faster for you! The same exact thing happened with me. They induced and I was completely closed. They were going to send me home...and a hour after they told me I was going home, my water broke.
I went in on Sunday and had him Tuesday...

yeah I've tried EVERYTHING. I get induced Thursday morning so at least it's almost over lol
