Haven't gotten my period in 3 months

I had my daughter on Feb 20, 2008... my husband is overseas so he was able to come home in march for 2 wks...well we ended up having sex and YES he wore a condom..well my problem is, I've only gotten my period once since then and that was in April and it was REALLY light ...do u think my body is still all messed up from having a baby and that's causing me not to get my period (and no im not on BC)? or should i take a test..I'm not breastfeeding either, I took a pregnancy test last week and it came up negative...so I really don't know what to think

It could just be your PP periods are still screwed up...even women who dont breastfeed can still not see AF for a few month PP...if you still are worried/skeptical go for a blood test. Good luck!

After my mother had baby number 6 she didn't get her period till 9 months later...the doctor said it could have been because of her age (she was 40 ) or the fact that she was using birth control for the first time. Either way he said it was normal and nothing to worry about.

The doctor had to give me something to make me start my period cuz I was 3 months PP and hadn't start yet. I wasn't breastfeeding either.
