Is it the same for Depo?

I know that taking antibiotics can cause the pill not to be as affective but what about Depo?

Hmmm interesting question. Definitely ask your doctor. I've never heard of that question with depo...

Well that would really suck!!! I dont have a doctor. I just go to planned parenthood for my shot.

i got pregnant on my 4th month (2nd cycle) into depo and i'm pretty sure it's because i was on antibiotics from a bad flu. i also miscarried that pregnancy, so i'd be really careful.

O wow so how did you know to test?

for that one i didn't. i went to the hospital because i was bleeding excessively, throwing up, having horrible cramps... they had me pee in a cup and took my blood. the doc said that my hcg levels were high and it was showing that i was pregnant but since i was bleeding up a storm i was most likely passing it right then.
i stayed overnight then in the morning they did an IE and no baby.. they estimated that i was only about 5 weeks along because i had had some spotting a month prior. it was okay though, i was only 17 and being pregnant was the last thought that came to my head.. i mean, of course it's hard looking back on it, but i just have an angel baby in heaven now..

i never knew about the antibiotic thing till THIS pregnancy! when i got pregnant on the nuvaring while taking antibiotics for a kidney infection! they didn't even mention that could've been the case with my last pregnancy, i'm just assuming..

Oh well I hope Im not. Im gonna test soon though.
