17 weeks && 3 days .

im pregnant. My parents know & they werent thrilled to find out, because i was around 12 weeks once i told them .I know im young to be pregnant && NO it wasnt planned. I never wanted a kid at this age. I was on BC AND we used a condom. It's funny how things work, aint it ? I dont think its going to ruin my life but its going to open my eyes and help me become stronger. Age doesnt depend on what kind of mom i'll be. Im having a little boy december 26th && his name will be Brayden Thomas Stanley . He'll be taking his daddys last name:] Im still with the baby daddy , we broke up right after i told him and we got back together shortly after && weve been doing great ever since :]
Im starting to get nervous. . I wantt some advice on anythingg that anyones willing to give about teen pregnancy whatsoever . && go ahead and be mean , im mature enough to have sex so im mature enough to hear the same ole' thing "you made a mistakee" so what ? whats done is done and im keeping the baby .

Why are you giving him the fathers (who has nothing to do with the baby) last name?

You just have a lot to learn to be a mom at that age. You should be having fun sweetie, not raising a child cause you are still a kid yourself. But hey things happen, now you just have to make sure that you do everything in the world to be a good mom to your lil boogaboo. Congrats but I just have to say that you guys(not all of you so don't get all psycho on me) keep saying how you don't want to be judged by your age yet that is the first thing you say to everyone....your age.If you would just post your post without a life story a lot of people won't even think twice about it!!!

we talked about it and once i made him realize that this is real and that I AM keeping it , he realized it was his && he needed to be there. He said it was his fault as much as mine & that he was here to support me 100% the whole way. Im so thankful everydayy that he realizedd he had as much resonsibility as i do .

Oh. Well it's your choice but I was going to do the same thing with my daughters father.
I ended up leaving him and gave her my name. It made the legal stuff SO much easier ha ha.

I really woundn't give the baby the daddy's last name, if u want nothing to do with him why would you. My mom didn't give me my dads last name, and I was lucky to have my step father give me his last name, and he will always be my dad.

Well what's done is done and I hope you just take being a mom very seriously. Your life no longer belongs to you, but to your child and you should do anything and everything in your power to make sure he is safe and healthy. As far as advice just make sure you continue with your apts, taking your prenatals, eating right, and taking excellent care of yourself. Good luck and I hope all works out for the best.

I think it would be best to give your son your last name since you will be the main caregiver. If you 2 get married someday you could always change it. Good luck with everything! I love the name Brayden.

hey! I'm a teen mommy. I'm not as young as u but I just turned 17 and had my beautiful baby boy 2 days before my bday. I gave my son his daddys last name and I dont regret it. If thats what u want to do then go for it. My son is a month and a week old. he is a very good baby I was pretty blessed. his daddy and I are still together so stay positive about everything and it will turn out for the best, remember everything happens for a reason! Never think ur son is a mistake cuz I sure dont!

Congrats! The only advice I have is continue w/ school to better yourself and your child. Education is the most important thing (besides your baby) I have just seen alot of teem mommies not doing so great after having a baby at a young age.
