12 week dr. appt & ultrasound

This morning I woke up for the day I've been counting down to on my iGoogle for the past month. My last ultrasound proved my baby was a little tiny blob. And not that I didn't think it was amazing and beautiful, it was hard to put the word 'human' into play. But this morning, I watched my little alien looking (but absolutely ALL HUMAN) baby kick, stretch and move its arms in my tummy! It's still relatively small, so I haven't felt any of this movement, but the simple fact that it had a HEAD and a BODY that were identifiable was the most amazing thing I have ever seen. I also got to hear the heartbeat.
Any other mommas with stories similar I would love to hear. I am just absolutely blown away by my baby and my body.

Lol, I felt the same way and when I went to my 15 week u/s I was AMAZED!! They are already "human" and look more "normal" at that age. Aww, comgrats! Did they give you pics?
