just needed to vent(sorry so long)

so last monday the 14th i bought a car. well i went back tuesday to pick it up like i was told and i had the car for a whole hour and the check engine light came on. so we went straight back to the dealership with the car. they told us not to worry about it and go ahead and drive the car the it was the O2 sensor. my boyfriend was like hell no you're gonna check this car out since its still under her 30 day warranty or give me her money back. so the salesman(mark) says okay leave it and he gave us a rental. i called the next day to see what was going on and it had nothing to do with the O2 sensor...the catalytic converter needed to be replaced. so they decided they would replace it at no charge to me....and thats what they should have done!!! so he said it would probably be a couple of days. so i was expecting to have my car maybe friday or saturday at the latest. so i called friday the converter came in but the seal that comes with it didnt come in!! thats my luck! so they had to order that and he said it should be in by the end of the day he was hoping and that the car would hopefully be ready tomorrow(saturday). well i call saturday...no such luck! the part still wasnt in yet so he told me to call him today so i called him at 11:30 this morning and he was with a customer and i had to leave my name and number with another salesmanager and he said he would have mark call me back. so he never called. so at 1:30 i call back and he says the guy working on my car went to lunch so he got my number and said he would call me right back once he found something out. 3:00 rolls around i havent heard anything. so i called my boyfriend(tim) at work and told him to call and see what he can find out. he does that and mark tells tim that the part STILL hasnt come in that its on backorder and that it would probably be wednesday before it was ready. so tim hangs up with him and calls me. that really pissed me off! so then mark calls tim back and tells him it might be thursday before its ready and tim said look her car was suppost to be ready a week ago and her 30 day warranty will be over soon and she hasnt even drove the car but once so either yall need to find a way to get her car ready or ill be down there to pick up her money after 5:00. quickly he said we'll get her another 30 day warranty once she picks up her car. so tim says ok. but then tim calls back acting like his uncle steve ( who we live with) and says my nephew is upset about how much gas this rental car is drinking something needs to be done so mark says how about we fill up her cars tank with gas and then she can get another tank of gas on us after she picks her car up. so he says ok and now im just waiting on wednesday to roll around so hopefully ill have my damn car! im just really pissed with this whole situation because its been a whole week and idk im just ill and its stressful to me. i just needed to vent......

that sucks, but hey look at the brightside at least you have a car to be mad about not having! things can always be worse!

yea that is true. thats a good way to think about it.

believe me, I don't have a car right now and being prego and being stuck at home bites! I do hate that for u though. Buying a car is difficult.

yea i understand that because this is my first car and it was very hard for me to get somebody to work with me. b/c my bf and aunt had to sign for the car seeing as im only 17 although ill be the one paying all the exspenses.

Yeah I know how that mess goes! I better get one soon! lol... I read your thing about 3d ultrasound? So I don't wanna sound dumb, but is that something you have to get seperately from medicaid or insurance or what?

I'm glad that your boyfriend is smart enough to do all that. Not all car places but a lot of them try to screw girls over because we are most likely not to know a lot about cars. That's a pretty good deal that they are giving you with your car warranty and gas. Make sure you get it in writing before you drive your car off the lot.

yea i had to get it seperately bc/ medicaid doesnt pay for it. it was $175 but i got a 45 min dvd, a cd with ALL 74 pics taken during the session, 6 printed out pics on nice paper (actually 7), a keepsake report for the baby book, a free 6 month subscription to babyhomepages.net, a free magnetic picture frame to put and u/s pic in on the frig, and a return visit for only $100. then in my gift bag thing i got a can of formula and 2 coupons for 10% off my next visit. they are really worth it!!

yea hes a pretty tuff negotiator(sp) but he got me a pretty good deal. yea thats what im thinking about the gas and warranty!!
