roxycotton & pregnant (sorta venting!)

a friend of mine's baby mama is right at 40 weeks or so (she's been to the doctors twice thru the entire pregnacy- first time because she was going to get an abortion but was a week too late & then at the begining of july for preterm labor contractions & thats when she found out her "due date") well my question is since she is pregnant how is she being prescribed to roxycotton?? it is synthetic herion & i know that they baby can come out addicted & go thru withdrawel. i know when she was about 20 or so weeks she brought in a fake abortion letter to her doctor. she didnt show at all till almost 6months. i know she was still doing them because i lived with them for about a month. and right now my friend is selling her pills because shes still getting them and they are saving the money for the baby (bad yes i know but other than this my friend is a wonderful person!!) but hes told me that pills come up missing so he knows shes still doing them! i just dont know how shes even get prescribed still! also does anyone one here live in hillsboro county in florida? because i heard they give you an automatic drug test when your baby is born for drugs & alcohol. (they may do that everywhere, i dont know) im just so confused about this, when i lived with them i always told her she needed to stop but because she's 5 years older than me she thought she knew all!

btw my friend doesnt want to be with her but hes doing it for the baby & if it is his (hes not sure because when she got pregnant they were just sleeping together but she was living with some other guy but shesays its his) he is going to try and get full custody since she is an addict

sorry for rambling im just so damn curious how she is getting these pills and obviously pregnant!!

I do not have the answer to your question, but I just want to say how awful this situation is!  
How very sad for that poor baby. She is obviously not fit to be a mother.

I was prescribed oxycodone after birth (c-section) and was breast feeding so they can't be too harmful, unless she's abusing them.
