My first Doctor's Appt!!

I have my first Dr. Appt in two hours....ahhhhh. I am so excited yet so nervous at the same time. This is my first pregnancy, I'm 8 weeks and this is my first appt. Blood work, ultrasound, vag check....it's going to be a long afternoon BUT I have been waiting for this day since I found at....AT 3 1/2 weeks....  It's been the longest 5 weeks it seems...lol.

I pray that everything is okay and that our little bean is right on track. I will feel so much better after seeing that little heart beat. DH is so excited...ready with the video camera and all...  I can't wait to post pics. I love looking at other's little beans...I can't believe I will be posting my own soon!!!  

It's going to be wonderful! Ask your U/S tech if you can hear it too! Most places just let you see it but mine let me hear it too! I'm due the day after you, and I just had my first appt Friday. Good luck!

So you could hear it?? I was wondering if we'd be able to. I'll have to ask. I'm assuming everything went good at yours! Yay!!!

You're so smart bringing the videocamera!! I kept forgetting to bring mine at all 3 appointments! At the 4th one I brought my digtal camera, and my dr. didn't bring out the u/s machine. ughhh! Crossing my fingers for next time!

CONGRATS and LOTS OF LUCK! I remember that first appt feeling so excited but yet scared shitless at the same time. LOL. Keep us updated and enjoy every second of your pregnancy b/c before you know it, your little baby will be here!

Feeeeeeling much much better. Still tired once in a while and I've gotten used to taking naps.   I never used to nap before, but now I just do when I feel like I have to. DH has also been better. My gosh, the first 3 months were trying on our relationship bc he didn't understand how sick I felt and I was also resentful that he had his normal life yet I was constantly sick and couldn't eat anything, or wasn't allowed to eat or drink certain things. But everything is good now. We also bought a doppler from Amazon.com and that's helped too. Everytime I get nervous we use it to see if the baby is ok. It's been the best purchase for our baby so far. hhahaha.

That's good! I'm glad you are feeling better! I've been lucky so far in that I haven't gotten sick, nauseous but not sick. Well that and I've been a b*t*h to DH like every other day...he just keeps grinning and bearing it....lol.

I'll have to look into the doppler once I'm farther along!

I remember my first appt....i hope everything goes well...this is ur start into an amazing journey!!!!!!!~ the first doctors appt. is usually the longest but its ALL worth it...good luck and keep us updated!!!~

Well congrats! It's always nice going to the doctor and knowing that everything is ok. Its such a relief!

I know how you feel i go for my first appt this thursday i found out at around 5 weeks but its felt like forever since this week finally hit. Good luck and i hope everything goes. Im real excited and nervous too!

How did everything go at your appointment? Were you able to hear the heartbeat? How exciting!!! Let us know how everything went !
