tampons after c-section?

I had a c-section on June 12th and i will be 6 week PP this thursday.. My pp bleeding quit about 1 1/2 weeks ago and I just got my period yesterday.. With me having a c-section and being 3 days away from being 6 weeks fully pp can i use tampons or do i still need to wait longer?

I would wait until after you go in for your first check up. Maybe even ask your dr. if its okay to use them again. I was kind of nervous about using them just because I know I was still healing - even though it was a c-section... JMO

yeah i have my 6 week pp check up this wednesday but i just hate wearing pads and i didnt know if everything was still the same with a c-section as it is with a vaginal.. and i kinda figured that if they say to wait 6 weeks to have sex then maybe the same rules would apply to using tampons..
