Sorry this is so late. I just been very busy. I been wanting to post this though.



My labor story
I was due May 15th, 2008. I was induced for Katelyn.So, My goal was to have this baby on my own. I did not want to be induced. Well, When I hit 40 weeks my doctor told me if I didn't have my baby by the 21th, he will have to induce. I was due the 15th. I was over due. Well, I never had the baby. So, We had to be at the hospital the 21th at 9:00pm, to be induced.They started giving me half a pill every four hour. The next day at 6:00am, I started havin mild contactions. When the nurse checked me she said I was only 1cm, but I thined out alot. The contactions got harder, and I was in some crazy pain. My doctor came in around 8:00tobreak my water. I was 3cm, and I told him I wanted the epidural (before thembig dogs come.) lolI knew once your water is broken, the contractions get REALLY hard. The nurse came in and gave me my fluids. I was havin hard labor. When the nurse came back, around 9:00 I was 7.5 cm. I asked her if I can have the epidural now. She said "yeah", so I got up to go to the delivery room. I ran there, the nurses ran behind me lol. I got my epidural and my doctor came in. I was 10cm. We started pushing.Taylor Brook Prejean was born May 22nd, 2008 at10:00am. She was 5lbs 12oz and 18.5in long. She had cold black hair and a head full. BEAUTIFUL!!
