So I have no idea being as im a first timer but I am having what I think is contractions (braxton hicks???) I am only 17w 3d. I seriously cant move when they come...the last about 30 sec. and come every 3min or so .... what the heck is going on im so confused??

Braxton hicks are generally not painful or regular enough to time. I would call your L&D and go in, hun. You might be in pre-term labor.

I would be concerned because they are painful... and if you have more than 5 in an hour you are supposed to call your dr anyway.. It's better to be safe than sorry imo, I know hospitals can be a pain in the ass, but think about your baby!

If anything, I would at least call and ask. They may only have you drink water & lay on your left side. Dehyrdation can cause contractions & from what I hear it's one of the more common causes of pre-term contractions.
It really is your call but I suggest calling.
