Hey guys I was just wondering I heard after your baby is born you cant travel until the baby is 3 months old. Is that true? I was just wondering because most my family lives about 3 hours away so I dint know how long I would have to wait before I could go home and visit

Travel how? Driving ? Flying?
I know if your baby is preemie they tell you to avoid going out with them as much as possible because of their weakened immune system...
But I drove 2 hrs to see my family when my daughter was only days old?

Ask your doctor. My sister went camping 1 week pp and it was a 2 1/2 hour drive and was fine. My nephew did great also...he slept most of the car ride. They stopped more often then ususal so she coudl feed and change the baby and so she could walk around a little bit.

I would say its not true cuz one of my friends traveled back in forth between her house and her sisters, almost every weekend until the baby was about 3 months old. Then they moved closer and before they moved, it was like an hour and a half drive. So isay that it shouldn't hurt anything.
