period question

i am 6 months pp... and i am not breastfeeding.. i was wondering can your period flucuate when it comes due to your body getting back in a routine? or would my period just come like normal like it use to...??
i know ive had like 4 periods, but im not sure if they came regularlly, because i was dumb and didnt keep track of them!
just wondering..  

Well I had my daughter April 19th, got my first pp period June 23rd, this month it started July 15th ... so there was only 22 days between cycles and normal for me was 28-30, so I'd say most definitely it can flucuate, hormones are returning to normal so it may take a while before your cycle is completely back to it's "norm" and it may find a new norm.

Well Im breastfeeding exclusivly and I have that mirena thing and Im seriously STILL BLEEDING! It doesnt want to STOP. And the day I think its going to, by the next day Im bleeding again. I dont get it. Im calling my Dr tomorrow ughhh

But to answer your question. I dont think its out of the norm for that to happen. Everyones different. Ive heard stories of women having lghter ones then normal too

That happened to me when I was on the depo, it was HORRIBLE. I bled for THREE MONTHS STRAIGHT, made a doctor's appointment and stopped bleeding the day before, very funny right? I was not amused.

I really feel your pain. Wish I had some words of wisdom. My doctor said to me "well maybe it's just your hormones trying to regulate" ... and to that I wanted to say to him "Well you know what FUCK YOU...wish you could bleed for three months straight" cuz man I was a moody bitch and on top of that it really put a damper in my non existant sex life lol.

I never had a normal period. Mine always came whenever it felt like it. Oh I would kill for it to come the same day every month.

Althought right now I would kill to not have one for a week! ugh

it took my body about a year to regulate after it started again.

i got mine 5 weeks after i had my baby and it seems as normal as it was before i got preganant.

Sorry...that was kinda mean, huh? lol! Aunt Flow will come when she wants, dont you worry! Probably when you least expect it!   I read somewhere it can take up to a year for your body to regulate again!
