We have already changed our minds tons of times about names, lol... and I keep bugging you guys for your opinions so please bear with me and let me know what you guys think, again!   We were thinking of going with Juliana Eve Mercado (last name) and we were going to pronounce it Juu-lee-ahh-naa.Eeev. Eve has no family connections at all it's just a name that both my husband and me like, with the way we're going it may even change too. My husband is Mexican American and I am white so we would like something that is a name in both cultures. I told my husband that we could call her Juli or Julia for nicknames and right away his eyes lit up and he said that we should just call her Julia for her given name. So it would be Julia Eve Mercado. So my questions for you guys are:
1. Which name do YOU like better: Juliana or Julia?
2. And your opinion: If we have her name be Julia, could we still call her Juli for a nickname too or is that weird? I personally never met a Julia, Julie, or a Juliana before so I don't know if that would be like calling her by a different name. Opinions Please!

I much prefer Juliana, but spelled Julianna with 2 n's.

I think with Julia OR Juliana you could call her Juli for a nickname, no it's not weird. Plus, with Juliana, you could call her Julia also for short. It's like a 3 in one package deal!

I agree that I like Julianna better. You can call her Julie for short.

I like Juliana better. Juliana Eve flows much better than Julia Eve for me. But really, both are very pretty!

i like juliana better but even if you named her julia its fine to call her julie or jules whatever you want. it doesnt sound weird or like a completely dif name to me. it'd be weird if you named her julia and then said her nickname was jen.

i love the name Juliana. Plus, its not a name you hear everyday.

I had a girl called Julianna in my class when I was little, butI'd definitely choose Julia, I think it's much prettier.

I love Julianna and also Juliette is beautful!!!

--> Julie's good, but I really dislike Julia, but that might be because I knew this really spoiled girl named Julia and she was just...grr to everyone. Lol. Oh and Julia seems to take the nickname Julia Gulia frequently.
