Clingy? Anyone?

So my son has been doing this lately. doesn't want his daddy, doesn't want to be set down, can't be left along. he has to be in my lap or my arms or next to me at all times, or else there is screaming, and sadness. he is six months old. anyone elses babys going through this or have gone through this at this age? if so how long does it last? its been happening for about a week. our babysitters last night said that he cried til he fell asleep and slept til we got back.... is there anything i can do to move the phase along faster?

its almost nerve wracking isn't it? since his daddy works afternoons and sleeps most of the morning he doesn't want anyone but me. its hard to get stuff done!

I'd suggest a hotsling. I use that with my daughter when she gets fussy.
Hell, I use it with my SON when he gets fussy, in the hip carry position (He's 1 1/2 and 30lbs )
