CONTRACTIONS??!

so im 39w4d pregnant.
and i think im having contractions but im not sure.

they feel like braxton hicks BUT SO much worse.
it feels like a menstrual cramp and my whole stomach gets hard.
and it feels like i have to go poop...lol and theres alot of pressure down there.
and my back hurts and my hips hurt too.and lately it seems like my discharge has been watery..

i don't know wanna go to the hospital and have them just tell me its false labor or nothin!

your probably better off at the hospital... until you go though time how long the cramps are and how often, this will give you an indication.   good luck

I'd go to L&D if l were you. l played the wait and see game and nearly got myslelf into a bind.

definitely real contractions. are the normal? (like every 5 minutes?)

Yay! Sounds like you're going to meet your wee one very soon! How bad are the cramps? I remember the day I had my daughter (10 days ago lol) my cramps were SO bad that I was sobbing and had to constantly pee every 5 seconds and was DREADING it because of all the pressure! That's because I was dilating from a 4 to a 6 all at once. Go to Labor and Delivery!

Mine were never regular, even up to his birth. When I kept getting them randomly anywhere from 3 to 10 minutes apart, I thought I would wait until they became more regular. Well they got more intense, but not more regular. I barely made it to the hospital lol. So I say don't wait until they are less than 7 minutes apart lol.

Funny thing was, was that I wasn't contracting at ALL. I just kept dilating! Weird huh?

After reading so many stories of false labor or labor stopping after people got to the hospital, I didn't want to make a trip for nothing. I'm sure its a fear of many people. Had I to do again, I would have gone sooner.

i just dont wanna have to drive 30 miles and then they send me home causeits nothin.

go lay down and time them and see hwo close they are, you dont want to lay around your house until you have to deliver him yourself and not being able to talk through them is a sign of REAL LABOR!!! good luck and keepus updated
