I don't know what to do!!! HELP!!!

okay, so for the past 8 months we've said his name was Travis Michael, and i didn't really like it, because its so common, but everyone called him Travis. and i could never convince my Fiancee' otherwise. He just called me and said that he liked the name Aiden Michael, And i wanted the name Aiden so badly before, but now that HE actually wants it, i've realized that Travis kind of stuck on me, I don't know what to do now, i hate the name Travis, but it FEELS like his name... Should we just pick two names out and decide once we see him? Or is that just stupid? Please give me some advice, i'm so clueless, and this will be his name forever, so its freaking me out!!!

Honestly i like aiden better it is very common too but..you should have the two names and decide when hes born whether or not he looks like an aiden or a travis.

I would choose before he comes then you won't have to worry about it after you have him.  I'm the most indecisive person on the planet so I could never wait to pick a name out ... but thats just me.   I say if you feel like Travis fits him then keep it! its not a bad name at all!!! 

Change it to what you think you would like him called for the rest of his life. We changed our kids middle names like a week before we had them and now we call my daughter by the new middle name we had picked out. We got tons of input from family, friends, our other kids, baby gaga polls. It all really helped us make our decision. Even if you called him Travis in your belly this whole time, it is ok to change it now. I actually love the name Aiden. It is so freaking adorable.

why not like Travis Aiden.
or something.. haa just call him what you would like to call him for the rest of your life and for his life!
i know how you feel my boyfriend picked the name Heaven and we called the baby that for like 8 weeks and that was HER name. and then one day i wanted to change it.. so we agreed to becuase really heaven like c'mon no thanks haha.. As much as i knew that name was impractical for our baby and for us i still miss it sometimes becuase that was her name?..
haha.. now she is nameless and i feel bad sometimes i still catch myself saying heaven but i know its not what we will name her!

I feel like Aiden is more common than Travis in this generation. I love both names though. Go with what you want. I would decide before the baby is born, but that is just my opinion. I'm a Sarah and there were at the very least 2 Sarah's in each of my classes and I didn't hate it. Go with what you like, don't worry about how common the name is.

Go w/ what you like, Or just wait til he is born to see if he looks like a Travis or an Aiden..

i understand how you feel. me and my fiance are having the same problem with her middle name. i say just pick a name that you won't mind saying 2000 times a day
