Quoting Farah Is Here!: I decided to breastfeed and I think its EASIER than bottle feeding...no having to wash bottles, measure ... [snip!] ... formula, and etc. I would say give it a try you may end up really liking it...and if not you can always go to formula feeding
Quoting daniellefm♥: agreed!! not to metnion you don't have to hold a bottle, you just put 'em on the boppy and hold them with your arm lol haha I HATE giving Koen the bottle...
Quoting BritniLynn: Hmmm well during my pregnancy I planned on breastfeeding. But it didn't work out. I did it exclusively ... [snip!] ... it's worth a shot, but I don't think anything is wrong with having to use bottles if need be. I hope that all makes sense
Quoting Blissful Mama: I have both breastfed and bottle fed.. I also had to pump exclusively since my baby was in the NICU.. Breastfeeding is still easier imo..
Quoting BritniLynn: Yeah well its different for everyone. And maybe if I hadn't had the issues and problems I was having, ... [snip!] ... easier for me too. It just happened to not be easy because of my situation ButI will still try again with my second one!!
Quoting Blissful Mama: Oh it wasn't easy for me either mama! Everytime I pumped I wanted to cry because I only got like 5 cc's ... [snip!] ... but once she got home everything went much smoother, I did almost give up.. I am glad I did not.. Good luck with your next one!
Quoting BritniLynn: Yeah, I have felt guilty for "quitting" but since I feel happier, I feel I am a better mom. I wish it ... [snip!] ... I wish it would have worked out. I wanted SOOOO badly to love breastfeeding...but I didn't. Oh well. Such is life I suppose
Quoting vel2n: i think the only that is harder one way or the other is that if you are breastfeeding your baby will be eating more often, like every hr or two, even at night. and that can be exhausting.
Quoting Blissful Mama: Yea, I agree.. when they are little they will cluster feed and be up every 2 hours like clockwork.. But I decided to co-sleep after a few weeks, and I found that much easier!
Quoting Bubba {Jalene's mommy}: That's what I did. It was way easier to co-sleep and BF. I could just put it in her mouth and fall asleep.
Quoting Blissful Mama: Yup! I suggest that to all BFing mamas that ask how they can get more sleep.. And a sling for during the day to get stuff done around the house! Definitely helps!!! My son just started (10 wks) letting me nurse laying down at night because his latch is better & it makes a world of a difference!!! I love BFing. I get sad when I think about having to wean him.
