No , I havent added it in her milk .

People keep telling me to though , They said not to put a lot just a little to get her to taste it .

Have you ? Would you ? or not ?

I dont think I will , but idk how else to get her on regular milk .

When we first started giving David whole milk we mixed it with formula, later just straight milk. After he had been drinking the milk by itself we started putting ovaltine in it on occassion.

If you are transitioning her from formula/breastmilk to cow's milk I woudn't. The easiest way may be to mix it 75/25 at first then slowly increase the amount of cow's milk. If she is in cow's milk and depending on how old she is you can add strawberry or chocolate syrup to get her to drink it. My nephew stopped drinking milk and the doctor suggested it...now he drinks it plain.

I didnt want to mix it cause i dont want my kiddos to only want the chocolate milk or whatever. I wanted them to drink it striaght for a while. And it worked pretty well now they dont care too much for the chocolate milks.

Lol are you giving it to her in a sippy or a bottle? If you are giving it to her in a bottle maybe try a sippy. I don't know if that will work or not, but if it's in a bottle maybe she's just expecting formula ya know? Sorry I'm not much help

yes, we did. My son breastfed for a year, weaned himself from the boob, but then wouldn't drink formula, cow's milk, water, or much juice. We put in the low sugar Nestle quik (we also did Ovaltine for a while) and he liked it. He drank it like that for 1 1/2 years, and all of a sudden (he's 2 1/2 now) he likes plain, white milk. If I had it to do over again, I don't know if I would have added it.... hard to say.... we did it not only because he wasn't getting enough calcium, but also because he wasn't getting much fluids..... I don't think it really hurts, as long as you don't feed them a ton of sugary snacks everyday. A little bit of sugar (esp. to get them to drink the much needed calcium for their growing bones) isn't going to hurt.

we've done strawberry, but I could never find the strawberry Quik in low sugar, only the chocolate. And if you compare the two, wow!! theregular sugar stuff has alot more sugar. I think Ovaltine has some sugar, but it also has tons of vitamins. Yes, it is sold in a reg. grocery store. Good luck!

yes, pediasure is good, we also tried that w/ my son and he liked it. It is very expensive though........

to the OP: also, I should have said that we did the Quik powder, not syrups. I don't know what the difference in sugar content is, or even if there is any...?
