Well, I am glad you had some success!

Someone told me to as well. I didn't. I figured Emily needed to learn to like milk all by itself and even though she wasn't fond of it at first, I kept just giving it to her every day and now she drinks it like its juice, lol.

My sister was told to add a little bit of the strawberry because my nephew had the most difficult time with formula and then cow's milk. So she started doing it, and now he drinks his milk like that. I don't feel comfortable adding it because my son will drink plain milk, and I don't want to ruin a good habit.

I give Anthony that from time to time, but that gets pricey.

He won't drink regular milk, so I just put him on theat next stage formula.

And with my youngest sister, my mom would put a little chocolate milk in it and then one day stopped. My sister didn't even notice.

That's what happens to my son

Emily has it too! I posted about it a week ago I think and I still haven't found a solution. I tried lactose free milk but she still has the diarrhea and it's been ever since she started cows milk pretty much. I will be trying soy milk this week to see if that helps or not.

Soy helped a LOT, but Anthony won't really drink it. His pedi told me to keep him on the next step formula until he's ready.

I barely started giving my 3 year old chocolate/strawberry milk. I wouldn't only cause my mom did that to my sister and then she refused regular milk. Plus babies don't need sugar.

If you do that, she will only like the sweetness. You shouldn't add sugar to things. Kids don't need it. I put milk in Dane's bottle to get him to like it and drink it, it took him awhile. Then I took the bottle away and just used cups. He loves milk now

How long did you wait to take him off the bottle? My first was way easier then my second and it's been almost 3 years since I had to do it.

I did the same thing! We had to put a little bit of sugar in the formula for Julia to start drinking the formula... then we slowly took away the sugar... until it was just formula. The pediatrician said it was ok, because she wasn't going to get enough liquids otherwise. *sigh* But yeah... Julia will drink plain white milk, but alas, my mil has given her chocolate milk. The holy grail. Now she will only drink white milk if she's super thirsty, and will GUZZLE the chocolate right down! (Gotta love mil's! She's like my best friend, but I was not happy about the chocolate. *sigh*)

I took J off the day after she turned 1. The hardest bottle to take away, strangely, was her morning bottle. Today we got off that one. It took about a week... but she *is* using the nuby soft top sippies. Not too hard of a transition that way.

i gave my daughter the chocolate milk; the strawberry one & also the the ovaltine & she loves pedisure.

she doesnt care for which one i give her. she likes all types even regualr milk. so i dont have to worry about that much. i never tried it in a sippy cup. i usually use water & juice for the sippy cup.
