daddy wants to name her Stevie!

i'm pregnant with my first child, due in Nov. we recently found out we're having a girl. daddy already has 3 children from previous relationships and since this will be his last, he wants to name her after him. it was fine when we thought about boy names since his name is Steven but now that we're having a girl, i'm not sure about the name Stevie.. he's really set on it and said i can pick the middle name but what girl name goes with stevie!!! HELPPPPP!!!!

Maybe you can convince him of Stephanie - kinda close.

oh uh-huh! I'd put my foot down. I wouldn't be naming my sweet daughter after a man. Stevie is cute if you were born in the 70's and named after stevie nicks but, that's just aweful. Stephanie isn't any better. Tell him Stephanie can be the middle name and IF he wants to call her stevie for a NN then he can. That's just retarded!!!

You should research what Stevie Nicks middle name is. I told my dh that if we were to name a child after him it HAD to be the first and he said no so he lost that chance. Think its just weird for the 2nd 3rd or etc to be named after the daddy guess Im just too traditional.

his first child is named after his sister.. they are both named Nicola.
his second is named after his son's mom and him.. Christina and Steven = Christien.
the third one is named jaden and he had no say on that one..
