i may not be as far along?

i just had my first ultrasound last week to check the size and confirm dates of our baby. turns out, the doctor says she is a little small for what should be 21 weeks. he wants to keep the due date of Nov 27 the same for now and check her again in 6 weeks to see how she's developing. so far he said developmentally, she's great but just small so that i may be about 1 1/2 weeks behind what we're thinking. i know my dates for my last 3 periods were correct so we'll just have to see what's going on next month when i got back in...  
i'm sure she'll be just fine. everything else looks healthy so.... maybe she'll just be short like mommy. =)

I doubt they will move your due date. I had to get an ultrasound Friday because I was measuring bigger than I should have been, and my baby was measuring 32 weeks and 5 days instead of 31 weeks, and they aren't moving my due date. So, I think you're good. =)

Maybe she's going to be a small baby? At my 18 week ultrasound they said Ayden was big, but didn't change my due date! Keep us updated!  

Aww I'm sure everything will be okay. At my sonogram last Wednesday I was 20 weeks and 4 days according to the last date of my period, and doc told me the sonogram said I was 20 weeks and 1 day...so they didn't change my date. Lol. Amazing that they can discover all of those things. They even knew my babys weight at that time. Good luck.  

he said she was perfectly healthy and if i am behind, it's not by much. he also said she weighed 12 oz already which is good size. so..we'll see!!!

same thing happens to me - at my previous appointment my doctor worked out from my last period that my due date is 4 Jan 2009 and then when i had my nuchal scan my due date is pushed back a week coz the doc says my baby's measurement is smaller than expected. but again she says the due date is only an estimate anytime from end of december to second week of Janurary is considered normal. so don't worry
