Today

I went and got a blood test, It was postive! I knew it would be after 4 HPT!
I have so much going through my head but I'm so excited. .I feel like I should be doing so much but then I feel like I should just go tosleep and relax because I am so tired.
What's that old wives tale about not shopping before 6 months, or something because it's bad luck? do any of you actually believe that? I'm nervous about everything, this is my first pregnancy.

I fought the urge to shop until 13wks. Then I fought the urge until we knew the sex, then I went nuts. You're also not "supposed" to have your baby shower until like you're 8 months or whatever but I had mine June 29th. It's all up to you but I probably would wait until around13wks. Not wishing bad on you, but you know to make sure everything is going okay. 13wks is considered a :"safezone" after that you're less likely to have a MC or so they say

Anything that says not to shop must be of the devil, lol...

LOL don't be nervous! Just avoid really strenuous activity and heavy lifting etc etc. I'm sure you're fine!! Congrats on the new pregnancy! When will you have your first u/s?

Yay!! That's sooo exciting! Congrats! I think that's a bunch of BS, I started shopping like right when I found out then I got sick of buying yellow crap so I just waited till I found out if I was having a boy or girl lol

I'm making my first appt. with the doctor tomorrow, I wanted to go get the blood test done just to confirm it.
