Depo?

Hi I hAve 2 questions 1 about the depo and the other about wedding stuff...i kn0w not a subject on this forum
1. Did anyone get the 3-month depo and bleed for more than their usual?....i just got it a week ago and i still am having my period my doc gave me pills to stop them even though she said the shot would...but she gave me the pills and i am taking it but still have my period which is annoying...
2. Anyone know anything (sites or businesses) about weddings?....i am trying to plan my wedding for next year and am looking for all sorts of things!...thanks in advanced!!

do you have any ideas on what you want for your wedding? also i had the depo about three years ago..i think i bleed for about a week and a half...but my periods are normally 4 days long..

I was on it for three months and bled the whole time except for the last couple weeks where it was every other day.

I was on depo before I got pregnant and I bleed for the first month then I had no periods at all until I got off it. But I bleed for 6 months straight when i got off it. For wedding stuff look on http://www.onewed.com/

I was on the depo my period was allll fucked up, it didn't really work well for me..... AND I got pregnant on it! SO I'm not too pro on the depo lol

yeah my cousin had her period when she got depo for a month and it was really heavy....me and my cousin are like the same with body type and periods so i think that i will get mines for that long too which i told my doc that i didnt even want a period while i wasnt pregnant and she gave me pills to stop it cause she said i was bleeding for too long now....but i am still bleeding which is a pain in the ass cause i already have to change 2 diapers then to have to change my own....lol...

1. I got pregnant on Depo, and it totally messed up my period. I suggest trying a different BC.

sEE and my doc said i wont get pg at all i am not trying to get pg again i just had two in two years so i am trying to wait....and she also said getting pg with the depo can cause problems with the babies gender or something like that...is it really that easy to get pg on depo?

i liked theknot...i didn't really have a wedding site...i just knew what i wanted and i looked for it..

i kinda know what i want but hard to explain....elegant but affordable....lol...i am looking for more comtemporary!

Problems with the babies gender? My little girl is... a perfect little girl. All I've heard were problems regarding Depo. I wish I would have known about BG before I got pregnant so I would have known to stay away from it.

i know...i wish i would of listened to my cousin when she told me not too...but the sound of no period is a great thing....nd plus i hate condoms...it hurts alot when he uses it but i guess its better than bleeding for days and months...plus the doc said that the pills dont kick in till the second month so i could still get pg on the pills...or is that with everything....cause my grandma had the ring and when my dad was coming out they said that he had it in his hand!

depo suckssssssssss i don't recommend it to anyone.

I was on the depo shot for four years. The side effects can go anywhere from bleeding constantly (usually light bleeding) to not bleeding at all. The first year I was on it I only bleed when I needed to get the shot. after that I didn't have a period until about 3 months AFTER I got off of it. it just kinda depends on how your body takes it.
