I just bought one a few days ago!! The one I really wanted, that I would suggest to anyone, is the kind that breaks apart and can become a small chair and table, and when you put it together it's a high chair! They are too neat! I found it in a store that is now Wal-Mart (but the prices are different here in Guatemala). I ended up getting a plastic on that's on sale.

I decided not to get the padded kind since it's harder to clean and stains easier, the one I got is boxed shape and bright colors. Best tip I can give, is wiggle the ones they have on display to see if they are sturdy. Remember there will be times your youngin will be moving and fussing in the highchair and you don't want it to tip over!

This is the one we have, and we love it. It's very easy to clean and fold up to store away. And if we happen to need to take it somewhere it fits in the backseat or trunk of our car.

I suggest just getting a little booster seat high chair with a swing tray, the kind that attaches to your regular chairs. They're way cheaper and easy to transport if you go somewhere.

Thank you ladies SO much! These are all great! Its so hard to make a decision. Im horrible with these kinds of things.

Karin, I was in Rockland County, in Nyack when I lived in NY. I miss it so much and want to move back. People are backwords down here (no offense please, to anyone who is from the south)

I was looking at those but wasnt sure about the stability of them. Our apartment is small too and we dont use the dining room table so I was thinking the actual highchairs would be a better bet

well we wer egonna do the fisher price space saver. but we held off on a booster because we didnt start her on solids until 7 months, and then we would just feed her either on the couch or in her entertainer. but then she started getting distracted and movign all ove,r and crawlign away, so we just save $35 and got a booster seat. and since they are al pretty similar we went with a cheap one, it's safety 1st, and we have this in green(since we like all of our big items to be neutral in case we have another baby.

Thats what I do now too. I feed her in her little baby papsan seat and Im afraid shes going to associate that with eating time. Thats why Ive been in the market for a highchair now to get her used to sitting at something close to a table so she understands that that means its time to eat. I dont if Im just dumb for thinking this way lol I always feel like whatever she does is going to reflect something else haha

yeah i am glad we went with the booster, cause we have a really small place, and its even more space saving than the fisher price space saver. and it can sit right up to the table if you want it to, but lyian tries to grab everything. but the tray helps then sit up, lylians fat tummy is almost too big for it though haha   here i found a pic of her using it, sorry her skirt is like waaay up on her haha

One of my friends has that booster for her son. He's now 14 1/2 months and can no longer fit in it.
