Pains on one side

I was standing in my kitchen loading the dishwasher and all of a sudden I had pain on my left side. I felt my tummy and it was all hard on that side and it seemed like most of the baby was on the right side, there was a huge lump. So the pain lasted for about eight or so minutes and then gradually went away after I laid down. Has anyone had this happen to them? If so what is it? Or could have been.

i get that sometimes when im tryin to crack my back , and it goes away .

You probably just cramped up a ligament. I have that problem quite often. You may have been having a BH at the same time, which makes it worse b/c your uterus is already pulled tight. I used to do that all the time with my 2nd. Especially when I was lying in the bed. Bending over can make it happen more also.

Did it feel like the baby was stabbing you in the cervix with a screwdriver at the same time? I'm pretty sure I had that pain at least 4 times today while walking around doing some shopping!

No she was moving around as usual. No pains in my cervix it was around my belly button area and my left side.

She could have just been in a position that was super uncomfortable for you. I get those sometimes in the same place and also in the top right of my tummy as well. It could just be her shifting around. It gets painful because she doesn't have much room anymore! And it hurts sooooo bad!

I'm still trying to figure out who gave mine a screwdriver to stab my cervix with!

LOL. Yeah I get though sharp pains too. It kills, I know!

I agree with all of the ladies above but if the pain kept coming back you should call your doctor
