Anyone who has built a house

So I know it probably differs from state to state, but if you have ever built a house, how much did it cost you to sink the well and septic tank (if you had to)? Or, how much did it cost to improve (clear the lot, get water and gas, etc) it? We are looking to buy a lot now so we can build next year and are trying to figure all of the costs involved, so any info is appreciated.

It'd probably cost a good chunk, im not for sure though maybe around 10,000 im guessing but i think that would be for the gas and water and whatnot. The permit will also cost you if you didnt already know that.

Yeah, I know the permits cost. We're just having a hard time finding an improved lot that isn't part of a development, so we're trying to figure out if it's worth getting one we'd have to have improved.
