I had a migraine for 4 solid days.

Then it went away.

With a week and a half of bleeding after placement.

i dont think mirena has estrogen

YEs I can't take the pill it made me nuts and so depressed! I was suprised the mirena worked because there is a little hormone in it and I was really nervous it would make me depressed agian. I had it removed to get pregnant, it took about four months to get pregnant when I got it out. It even made my heavy normal periods really light

well i spot on and off but its normal. and i get crampy here and there but thats it. its so worth it. id rather spot than get preggo again anytime soon

That's great! So there are pills for nursing mommies! I'm am totally signing up. I really don't want to forfiet the benefits of breast feeding and I really feel the need to space my babies by at least two years.
What exactly is the minipill anyway?

i forget... but yeah im breastfeeding and so far no issues. i got it in march

When they put the IUD in it was a little crampy but I thought I was going to get the brunt of all the side effects since I normally do with everything else, I was very suprised that I only spotted for a couple days and then I was fine! Since I couldn't take the Pill I tried spermicide and that gave me constant UTI'S so the mirena is the only thing that seems to really work for me.

Thanks for all the answers! I'm super sensitive to hormonal birth control, so I'm hating the idea of having to get back on another birthcontrol! I've been thinking about paragaurd, but I'm worried about the cost, especially, if I hate it and have it removed!

lol, I was staring at your avi and it took me a long time to realize it was a mirror image of your face. At first I thought it was an xray of your pelvis or something. ha ha ha. I guess I was just looking at it wrong

It's like any other pill really, except you don't have a dummy pill week.. I never got a period while on it.. but you have to take it every day at pretty much the same time.

I am thinking about paragard too.. They even have a payment plan lol

It is like the regular pill but it does not contain estrogen I believe.
