Quoting Noah.:“ Right now I am reading The Giver to my son, it was my mother's day gift from my mother. It made me remember ... [snip!] ... Arithmetic. Hatchet. Brian's Winter. Bridge to Terebithia. Stone Fox. My Side of the Mountain. What are yours?”

I liked a lot of the books you listed. I can't believe my husband never read The Hatchet and the sequel. I LOVED those books. I loved Mrs Piggle-wiggle, Pippi Longstocking, Dr Seuss, the Laura Ingalls Wilder series, Where The Wild Things Are, The Wuggie Norple Story, Goosebumps, Hankthe Cowdogand about a million more. My mother was reading to me from day one and I loved to read. By the time I was 6 I was reading National Geographic and at 11 I read To Kill A Mockingbird, and then had to explain it to all the highschool seniors who were required to read it and had no idea what it was about. LoL I have been going into bookstores and picking out thousands of books that I want to buy for our baby. That's one of my favorite things to do lately.

I don't remember that, but I DO remember a story about pierre we read in the second grade, and we had to write our own story about a guy named pierre. mine was about pierre the frenchman who wrestled snakes in the amazon, lmao.
