another question

He is 6 wks old and still only eating 2 at most 3 oz and i asked my pediatrician already about that last week and she said as long as hes gaining weight shes not concerned any other parents had a similar experience with there baby still not eating that much?

my daughter is 5 months old and she JUST started eating 6 ounces, i mean as in the last 3 days, it took me a really long time to get her to eat 5 at a time, every baby is differnet, as long as he seems happy and is growing good, i wouldnt worry about it

My niece will be 1 next month and she will only drink 4-5 ozs of formula ata time. Even before she was on solids.

I have no idea how much my daughter eats (she is BF), but I know she only eats 3-5 minutes, and only on one side... And they say BF is supposed to take 10-15 on each  
As long as he is growing, gaining weight, happy and making diapers, don't worry!

How often is he eating?

every 3 hrs sometimes longer periods

Thats about what my daughter eats but she is a preemie. Have you tried offreing him more?

Yes but he just starts crying and wont take anymore

Are you feeding him formula or breastmilk?

Hhmm... I dont know. He is only 6 weeks old though. Just give it a few more weeks. His tummy is still very tiny. Around 2 - 3 months he should be eating larger amounts, but right now, dont stress it. You should ask your doctor if you are really concerned, but for a 6 week old, it sounds ok.

Samantha is 11 weeks and she still eats 2 to 3 oz a feeding, I'm not worring about it she was 7lbs 8oz at birth and now is 11 pounds.
