bugs!!

i have a 16 month old and the bugs eat her alive! can i put bug spray on her or is she to young? i bought off family spray. neone know?

what is deet?

i put it on my nephew he is 20 months but i put it on my hands first then lightly pat it on him, and it works!  

well deet is the actual chemical that keeps the bugs away, but just look at the bottom of the label it will say how much deet is in it, deet just makes it stronger smelling

You can use it on children that young. Just put it on your hands and put it on the face, neck and spray on the clothing.

i would say off family spray would be fine.. is it that tropical stuff by any chance? you could also use skin so soft

not sure i'll have to check...skin so soft is a bug repellent?

yea as awkward as it sounds you can use it as bug repellent..lol but my hubby bought me the off family tropical spray for when we go on our boat, it smells great, and the bugs love it!

thats funny but may be safer for kids...now i hope i got the tropical stuff

the tropical stuff doesnt last long though, it smells kinda like that wax candy stuff.. it smells damn good, but after awhile the bugs will go right after it

I use the tabard stick on nate if I need to (just on his ankles).
do you have a net over her bed?
