I know. I was liek "If I wanted my cheese, I would have gotten it." The cheese is so difficult too sicne you cant get indivudual wrapped.

Yeah I get 5 gallons of milk a month.
Like 4 48 ounces of juice. So
A ton of cheese... that I don't use all of.
2 Dozen Eggs.
Peanut Butter.
Lots of Cereal!

DEFINITELY IT SAVES A TON OF MONEY! I ALSO GIVE SOME OF IT AWAY! AND if you don't use certain things my office told me I can call and change some things around... so =] GO FOR IT!

Wic helps w/ milk a lot.. I was leery about it at first because regular milk makes me really sick (lactose intolerant) but then I found out they will supply checks for lactaid instead if u just tell them at ur appt. that you cant drink milk.

You can rent a breastpump from them in PA the cost varies on how much you work but they also told me that since i'm on medicaid if my dr writes me a prescription for a pump while i'm in the hospital after having Riley I'll get one free to keep through medicaid. So if you are on public/welfare health care it might be something to ask around about.

I think it is worth it. I usually have way too much stuff like now I have a one year old and I am preggers so we get like 12 gallons milk a month.... In WV they are going to slpwly start doing fruits and veggies and jarred baby food too. They are doing away with juice slowly. At least that is what they told me at my last apt.

Here you get formula for six months and if your finances don't meet then you can start getting jarred food too.

Yeah here you get it no matter what but once the baby comes they change it. Like you get more food if you breastfeed but if you formula feed you get it for 6 months. Then that's when the income comes to play. They also give you some bogus health problem too cause they're not supposed to give it to peopel who are healthy, but they do anyway. ha weirdos.
