Tylenol.

I am having so much trouble sleeping I heard that you can take tylenol pm and it wontaffect the baby. I went to the dr. yesterday and i THINK i asked him and he said it was fine but that may have been in my dream LOL i honestly dont remember. But anyways do any of you take it or have asked your dr.??

i dont know for a fact that it is ok. But I know my friend took it quite often through out her last trimester. Her baby was fine. or appears to be anyhow. I would definately double check with the doctor though.

tylenol according to my docter is safe in all the forms... except codine..

it's fine to take, but it never worked for me

My doc actually recommended me taking it to try to sleep better at night. I tried it once and I was wide awake all night!

The only active ingredients in Tylenol PM is tylenol and benadryl. Diphenhydramine is generic for benadryl. Both are considered safe but I would maybe just take benadryl without the tylenol if you aren't in pain.

tylenol pm is fine and so is unisom it was prescribed by my midwife.. recently cause i dont sleep at night

it's on my safe list of stuff I can take . My midwives also told me Benadryl if I'm having trouble sleeping,.

My doc said it was ok to take it and actually told me to take it....I took it once and the next day Haley didn't move around very much so I quit takin it....It doesn't really work that well anyway

Oh, and you can take 2 benadryl which is 50mg (more effective) and only 25mg in Tylenol PM.

how did it work for you?

For thoese of you who do take it how long does it usually take to work?? I use to take sleepeze before i got pregnant and that took about 2 hours to kick in!
