my daughter dont want to come home

Me and the father of my daughter (she is 9)have joint custody of our little girl.. its so hard this way.. the family court said that we have to share her every other year and whatever year that it is in.the child goes to the other parent for the summer.. well long story short i have her this year and she is at her fathers for the summer. my ? is how do i get her to want to come home, summer is almost over and she dont want to come back home to mom's. She does know that she is coming home and i dont want to hear anything else about it. I do understand why she does not want to come home.. she has step brothers at her dads house and at my house all she has is my son 10months old. She has friends in our apt building and i told her that but all she seems to care about is stay there HELP ME

Bunny, this is the third time you've posted this and you already got responses on a different one.

She's old enough that you can explain to her that since mommy and daddy aren't together anymore this is the way it has to be. You migh also want to think about negotiating a different arrangement with your ex so that it's not as hard on your daughter bouncing between two homes and what not.

If she is anything like my son it's not so much that she doesnt want to go home but that she just wants to stay plaing with her step brother who is probably old enough to play with her. My son always want to stay by my moms cause his friends are there and he can play. Here is just his boring little brother lol once she is back she will be fine. Just let her know you miss her and cant wait to have her home.

First you don't have to post more than once! Second it could just be because it's summer and she knows when she goes back to your house school will be starting...Do you and dad have the same rules for your daughter or is he a bit more lenient? That could be another reason she doesn't want to come home...Is she the same way when you have her for the summer or would she rather stay with you? It sounds like you have a complicated custody arrangement that may be confusing her....Sorry I guess I wasn't much help.....Good luck though I hope you find a solution!

They arent the same, but it shows up on the right side when something new is posted.

Every time a new post is done it comes up in the right hand column so everyone can read it....Your not the only one who's done it that's for sure!

Yeah but edit the very first post on the page. And put *update in the Topic bar. Or if you forgot to say something in another post you made just edit that one.
