posted 19th Jul
I gave birth to my son on May 13th, he is almost tem weeks already I weighed 137 when I got pregnant. I am 5 '6 and 1/4 tall.
Anyways I weighed 214 on the day I had him and today I weigh 200 pounds not much has gone away. I walk everyday about a mile or so. I switched my calorie intake and also knocked out all the fat , fried foods and such.
Nothing is working , I do not have time or money to go the gym.
Can anyone give me some advice. Thanks

Cardio, plain and simple. You have to get your HR up for at least 20mins a day 3 days a week to get any sort of "results" mos tof the time.

Instead of restricting calories I'd restrict carbs. I have GD so I'm on the "GD" diet and I've been doing nothing but losing weight, I started at 255lbs when we found out I was pregnant, now I'm 37 weeks pregnant and I weigh 265lbs. The whole 3rd tri I've been losing weight. When I pop this little girl out I'm staying on the diet I am on now because of how healthy it is and how much you easily lose weight, I could only imagine how fast it would come off if I was able to exercise. Basically the diet is this, only worry about you CARBS. Allow yourself to eat 6times a day. At breakfast only eat 30g of carbs and anything else you can fill in (protein and such). At every snack (inbetween each meal and on b4 bed) only allow yourself 30g of carbs again. Then at lunch and dinner allow yourself 60g of carbs. If your still hungry eat more meat or veggies. Trust me it works wonders and I feel GREAT! Hope that helps a little!

I love the OnDemand workouts...someare 6mins some 60 so if you have the time do the long ones if not mix up a few short ones.

ooh. Please don't do the Atkins diet, it is very very unhealthy. Your body needs carbs to function properly and the Atkins diet takes all carbs away! If youre going to do a "set/famous" diet like that do Weight Watchers.

What's so unhealthy about it?

A new study just came out and the people who were on Atkins lost more weight than the people who limited their fat intake. The people who were on Atkins also lowered their cholesterol more than the low-fat dieters.

I'm doing Atkins and it's working just fine, I don't understand why people try to 'scare' others into thinking that it's unhealthy.

The best PP way to lose the pounds is to breastfeed.. if you can't BF, stop eating meats, and just eat all the veggies and fruits you want, no sodas, sugars, or anything "sugar free" those things will actually make you retain fats.

Hmm...I'm doing everything exactly opposite of your advice and I'm losing weight.

(By the way, breastfeeding doesn't help everyone lose weight, I've BF for 11 months and when I wasn't doing atkins, I didn't lose an ounce).
