Fathers last name or yours????

This refers to couples who are not married or do not share the same last name o

I'm in that situation me and my boyfriend are not married but live together and plan to get married in the next few years
We've both decided that the baby's last name will be his
they was no debating or arguing thats the way we both want it

what does everyone else think????

Thats what I did.... I think that if the father TRULY wants to be in the childs life then they should get his last name.

My hubby and I don't share the same last name so we've agreed the baby will have both last names.

My oldest son has his dads last name...well he is a Jr...LOL
a few years after he was born we got married...

First off- I wish I was in Rochester right now because I would kill to go to a redwings game and then to dinosaur bbq for dinner. Yummmmmmm.

2nd- my son is going to have Micah's last name. We're planning on getting married in march anyway- so its just easier for Korben to take his name rather than change it later.

My sons getting his daddys last name... well actully he's getting all of his daddys name since he's gunna be a jr.

Alana has 'sperm doners' last name which i hate and am having so many problems trying to change.. but Amelia will have her daddys last name as we are getting married halloween next year.

where as my sister's given my nephew both of their last names.

i think its all down to personal choice

well how do you determind weather he really wants to be there or not. i mean ny babys father has come and gone. i know that is enough to just give her my name but do i really have a right to deny him that?

my daughter will have both last names on the birth certificate, due to family tradition sincewe're not married, but she will carry his last name.

My boyfriend and I aren't married and aren't planning on getting married for like 8 years lol, but I gave the baby his last name...too much of a hassel to change it later lol

Jay and i decided to give our daughter his last name. We are not married but we plan to get married after our daughter is born

Annas got daddys last name. We plan on getting married so it was just easier for us that way.

Both my kids have their father's last name (same father) we aren't together anymore but it doesn't bother me.

My kids have both last names on their birth certificates but pretty much just use dad's last name...
