smoking pot during your pregnancy

I've never known anyone whos baby was affected by them smoking marijuana during thier entire pregnancy.
but it stillworries me that my baby might have problems
My boyfriends sister did and her baby is healthy and fine
and a few others I Know had happy healthy babies too
I'm just courious to what everyone thinks about it
I smoked a lot a lot of weed during the first few months of my pregnancybecause I didn't know I was pregnant
my baby is perfectly fine so far and seems not to be effected by it
I even smoked cigarrettes for that time and then quit shortly after I found out
It was reallyeasy to quit cause cigarette smoke makes me sick

I think its totally unfair, Yeah they may seem healthy but they will develop lung problems when they get older

oh girl this is going to bea long topic! I would say to just dowhats smart!

i've been told by a lot of people that smoking pot is just fine...and in some cases where womens doctors have said its ok because unless they smoked they couldnt eat because the morning sickness....i quit because even if it is fine i can still get my kid taken away by CPS and being high definatly isnt worth losing my kid.

The effects of marijuana on a fetus are unknown as of yet, I'd say to avoid it as best as possible.

I would never SMOKE during pregnancy. That cuts off the oxygen to your fetus.

There have been a few posts about vaporizing while pregnant, which is something I would rather people do.

I would never risk getting my child taken away from me however. If they test your child for marijuana at the hospital and he/she is positive they will get CPS involved and take away your baby.

I think its bad. A girl I know lost her baby because she refused to give up smoking. I think it was terrible because she could have at least stopped for that short amount of time and then gave the baby up for adoption so it could have a decent life instead of no life.

it's the smoke that is harmful, you shouldn't smoke while your pregnant. I think that using a vaporizer to injest marjiuaua while pregnant is fine though.
i personall didn't while i was pregnant, but i've never been big on pot.
