sitting low....

i know all pregnancies are different and ive never been pregnant with a boy and ive heard of ppl carrying really low when they have boys...but i keep reading post of ppl who have they're baby in the rib cage or sittin high and i remember with my 1st one she was up high too and i used to see her kicks and punches all the time...this one on the other hand is sittin low and it feels like he likes to chill in the back...i always feel all the movement down there and i never get to see his kicks or punches cause he's so low. here comes the stupid question...ready?...does this mean i will go into labor sooner because he is sitting so low?....

no I dont think so but I have alwasy heard opposite girls sit low and boys sit high both of my daughers were/are low so I think it really just depends on the pregnancy and the person! an djust becasue he is low doesnt mean you are close to labor I dont htink but then again you never know!

yeah i was just curious cause alot of ppl were telling me that if by the time i get in my 30wks+ and he hasn't moved up i can go into premature labor...i don't know how true that necesarrily is...i guess i will have to bring this one up with my dr. the next visit.

No. My daughter was low and I went 8 days overdue.

sitting low or high has nothing to do with the gender.. that's just kind of an old wive's tale.

I have 2 daughters and they were high.... used to kick me in the rib cage all the time. This one is a boy and he is down REAL low. Always kicking me in the groin and bladder.

i don't know, but I am sitting low. My uterus is up to my belly button, and my belly looks low and when he kicks and moves, it feels WAY below my belly button.

Well i have been pregnant with a boy and he was high as heck... kicking my ribcage was his fav pass time!!! Ugh.. he was high!!! he dropped eventually but he liked it up there, 3 days before my due date he was low and ready to go, when we went in to be induced... he moved up and turned around so... idk....

oh yeah and im pregnant with a girl this time and she wont get off my bladder!!! im 23 weeks & 6 days and she is LOW LOW!!!! lol... so u had it right the first time... every pregnancy and woman is different!!!! but you sould be FINE!!!! no early labor!!!!!

I dont know....i was thinking the same thing today. Everytime ive gone for u/s my baby lays and sleeps on my bladder....its really annoying because im peeing all the time. xx

Im having a boy for the last 4 weeks atleast he has been in my ribs all the time (I have to lay down & rub on his feet when they stick upto get them off my ribcage) But at the same timehe is also pressing down on my bladder & lower so hard it hurts bad. I guess he just likes to stretch out....ALOT lol
