third trimester stress
posted 19th Jul
I'm 36 weeks and my work environment is EXTREMELY stressful. I can't even begin to explain all the crap that goes on there. In a nutshell it's a bunch of women who can't work as a team and will do anything to make everyone else look like crap to make themselves look better and don't know how to take responsibility or use common sense...anyways, I was just wondering if all this stress is bad for the baby? I'm thinking of taking my leave from work early for my sanity and my baby's health, but wasn't sure if it really was a hazard for my baby, or if it could make me have her sooner, or anything else like that?

Based on everything I read on stress and the unborn child, it's not good to have stress. You release hormones when stressed out and your baby will feel it too. Try to relax. If work is that stressful for you, take some time off if your financial situation permits.

Sounds exaclty like my office. I have been feeling so down because of it, and it's hard to think positive. All I want to do is go home to get relief from the stress.
