I don't get how that really works, otherwise wouldn't I of atleast started having contractions like everytime my bf and I have had sex?

Yeah, that's basically what you do.

They have to be done at intervals for a regular period of time and you have to continue with stimulation until contractions start. Then you take a break and start again in 10 minutes.

I'm not sure how dangerous is can be, but I do know that by the time I got to weeks 41 and 42 with my next few pregnancies(evidently they really liked the room service) I was already having irregular contractions and stimulation helped get things moving in a more regular fashion each time.

If I get to 41 weeks and there is still no sign of labor I'm definently going to try it out, maybe even at 40 weeks. I really really don't want to have to be medically induced.

I don't blame you. My girls came on time or early, but the boys seemed to never want to come out.

I totally agree. I don't think boys/men even understand themselves.   I should have known though because their dad always wants to be fashionably late.

LOL. Yeah, after 13 years of marriage, the only thing he's ever on time for is work. Go figure. But then again, his own dad and mom are always late for everything too (maybe it is genetic) ; ) My only hope then is that my early bird typetendencies balances out his late ones.

Well has your doctor spoken to you about just inducing it? I was relieved when my doctor today told me I will be induced on july 28th!!! Now the suspense of the day comming is killing me.

No Way! I do not want to be medically induced. The only way I'd allow it is if I was 2 weeks overdue. I want to have an all-natural non medicaded birth and medical induction can make it more painful and difficult than it's already going to be.... Although I must admit it would be totally nice knowing an exact date that he was going to for sure be here, then I could really count down the days lol but yeah I really hope it doesn't come to that.

Well because my doctor said that he only delivers on certain days .... and that if she comes on any random day he doesn't work he wouldn't be the one delivering the baby and I really want him to he is my doctor.... and yeah.. sucks huh I wish he would be the on call type..... but yeah.
