Is it normal...

for a limb to constantly go numb? Not just when you're sleeping but all the time? It seems my left arm is always feeling numb and sore and tingly and it's freaking me out. I once heard that it's a sign that you're about to havea heart attackand I think that's what freaks me out the most. My blood pressure is fine, I'm not stressed at the moment, so why the hell would it be feeling like this? It's like from my bicep and then my writst constantly tingling and then it will start to numb. I normally lay on my left side so that I get proper blood flow for me and my baby but I'm not sleeping on my arm. I know this sounds stupid but is my arm just sore? I'm freaking the F*CK out! Has anyone had this problem??

you might have something out of line in your back thats pinching a nerve... I'd see a chiropractor. But definiely mention it at your next appt or if it gets worse and you're really worried call your care provider in the morning and ask.

true, I didn't even think I could have pinched a nerve.

I agree with the chiropractor thing. It's a really good idea. If you can find one in your area who does prenatal adjustments go get checked out.

has either one of youbeen to a prego chiropractor? Is it any different or useful? I've been to a regular one and all they did was crack my back, I was afraid to let them crack my neck. Although it was for a back injury a while back it wasn't useful at the time. But I'm really getting annoyed with numbness I'm willing to try anything!

I go the the chiropractor every two or three weeks while I'm pregnant. It has numerous health benefits for preggies! My Chiro specializes in pregnant women and babies, but I'm sure if you found one who just had experience with pregnancy adjustments it would be fine. It is a life saver for me! I feel so much better. It also helps keep you lined up so the baby has as much room as possible to grow and get positioned well in there.
Besides helping you stay comfortable all the way to the end without lower back pain, regular chiropractic care in the last part of pregnancy can help reduce your labor time by almost half in first time moms! It helps keep all your nerves functioning at full capacity so your muscles are much more efficient, plus it helps make sure the baby is positioned right and lined up with your pelvis for an easy birth!
And most insurance and even medicaid will cover chiropractic care.
