Quoting TokyoRose♥: yeah there is an amzing video that goes with a book called natural birthing and they had about 5 births ... [snip!] ... do it at home but i read that if anything goes wrong then its on the parents.are you going to have a midwife or a doula there?
Quoting TokyoRose♥: i don know this place very well at all so id have to get a friend that lives here to do it just so they ... [snip!] ... 100%,or at least as far as hospital visits.do you think that means they would cover a waterbirth at a birthing center?
Quoting TokyoRose♥: damn your so luck i really hope my baby comes right after labor starts i cant imagine being the girl ... [snip!] ... that labors for like 15 hours! im very impatient so i know id resort to c section pr something just to get it out faster lol
Quoting BrittanieY: An exercise routine can do wonders! I walked 2 miles a day and did yoga, which was so helpful. I never ... [snip!] ... labor, I got put on meds at 35 weeks to stop her and she stayed in until 37 weeks 4 days and came out healthy! Good luck !thanks!!i plan on doing alot of yoga type stuff to keep me from being that lazy kind of miserable..as for the walking part its so hot here that i cant do much of that and when its winter ill be so worried about gettin a freakin cold i may be too scared to get outside cause the wind blows alot here.
Quoting Sharonblueyes: Oh and just to add, if you have a midwife present at your homebirth, they are responsible just like if ... [snip!] ... body than the hospital staff! (I know, I've attended plenty of hospital births with friends and I REFUSE to give birth in one.)yeah i takea bubble bath every night and iv done it since i was a little girl so i just cant even imagine having a baby at a hospital.they are so professional and tight assed to me.i could never be relaxed enough to enjoy birthing at a hospital
Quoting Eris: yes, my midwife will be there, as well as my husband and my mom. (my mom has had 6 kids, so i feel like ... [snip!] ... my body during the birth process and allow the birth to happen without fear. fear is what makes the pain so bad, after all...the connection you feel to your baby will help you im sure so it sounds like your going to have a very nice birth..good luck!!

Quoting Breanna(Demitri's Mommy): I don't know how big glendale is. are you close to a BIG arizona city? If you are, start looking around ... [snip!] ... arizona well) and birth centers. I would have loved to go to a birth center, but i"m on medicaid and it doesn't cover it.I am on Medicaid and found a birthing Center that has the tub and the whole hotel like-rooms. I didn't even start going there until I was 8 and 1/2 months pregnant and am ecstatic about it. I have a few websites saved that have national databases for midwifes if you are interested.
Quoting TokyoRose♥: okay im planning on having an all natural waterbirth with my first child.we do have a history of premature ... [snip!] ... bad things about the first birth being the hardest so does anyone have any tips or advice maybe even an experience to share?
