Have you had sex in the past few hours. Its common to spot a bit after intercourse.

any kind of sexual activity or a recent papsmear or something might make you spot.. do anything that could have caused this recently? or did u just spot for no reason whatsoever? was it actually spotting or was it just a little blood from maybe hemroids or cuttting yourself while shaving or anything else?

That was what I was going to ask too.   Spotting after sex is normal. Do you have any pain or cramps?

It COULD be from the infection. If you have no abdominal pain or cramping, it should be fine. Baby is moving fine? I would call the doc in the morning if you still have spotting then.

if you havent done anythign to cause spotting then you need to call your doctor whether the baby is kicking around or not.. maybe hes in distress i dunno.. but id rather be safe than sorry. if its after office hours call the ER and ask to speak with someone there about what could be going on.

spotting can also be caused by dehydration or walk/standing for long periods of time

That makes me feel a little better.. I havent had any spotting or anything since my last period before I was pregnant and it just really freaked me out.. I will def call in the morning if it continues through morning..

I had spotting from about my 15th week till about my 29th week and if I were you I would get it checked out just to be safe. You may just want to make a phone call and see what they say. Describe it and they will tell you if you should come in or if you should just try to take it easy for the night and see what happens. It will depend on the color, the amount, if you feel any cramping... ect... No matter what spotting I had, because it varied so much, one day brown, one day pink, next day red... I always called and a couple of timesIjust wentin, and I just felt better knowing I spoke with someone and/or got checked out.

Yeah.. I'm hoping it's just this yeast infection.. I kinda did a little research online and saw that a yeast infection can cause some spotting to occur.. the only thing is, is that it is just a slight yeast infection.. it's not like full-blown.. it burns just SOMETIMES, or itches just SOMETIMES.. it's not a constant ongoing thing and had a Dr. appt yesterday and the doctor told me "there isn't a pregnant woman in mobile that wont get a yeast infection this summer" haha.. but anyway.. hoping thats the cause.. i am going to call my doc in the morning first thing...

I don't know if anyone has suggested this for your yeast infection, but try to eat one yogurt a day. There is something in the cultures that helps with yeast. I was on medication that could cause yeast infections a while back and that is what the nurse told me to do to help prevent it.

They never did figure out what was causing my spotting.... I almost would have felt better if I could have figured it out, but everything came back normal.

Good luck!!

Thank you so much, I have actually been craving yogurt so I do eat yogurt every day.. but yogurt will actually cure a yeast infection or UTI if you put PLAIN yogurt directly on the vagina.. it's messy and sounds gross, but it works!! haha.. thanks to the mama for telling me that one   Thanks for all the advice...
