Lonely Teen Mommy...

posted 18th Jul
I know it's natural to feel alone at times.. But sometimes I just can't get that feeling to go away. I mean I can be in a room full of people and still not feel right... I feel like sometimes I need the baby's dad there to help.. I know I don't need him but it's hard.. I don't want him back or anything but it sucks... I don't have many friends anymore, dropped out of school.. Got hard being pregnant, sixteen, and going to school full-time and working.. So I lost most of my friends when that happened.. I don't know.. Just kind of rambling.. On the ups side my son keeps me pretty busy and very happy..   I love being a mommy!!

I had my first at 16 and seriously the best thing you can do for yourself and your son is to go back to school.... take night classes or weekend classes...

also, it sounds like you may have PPD... ask your doc... see if he thinks so too... i had it and the best thing that helped me was a counselor, someone i could talk to...

First of all, you should be commended for being such a stand up Mom! Being a Mom is hard work but I am sure being a Teen Mom must be even more difficult.
You sound to me like you are having some Baby Blues! Talk to your doctor about it before it gets to far.
Good Luck!

I was pregnant at 16 and had my daughter at the end of my junior year. I ended up pregnant again at the start of my senior year. I am a single mother of two and graduated in June from high school. Just remember that it isn't going to be easy but going to school is the best thing you can do for you and your baby

It sounds a lot like post pardum depression. It's normal to have PPD, lots of women do and some even have to be put on meds for it. I say this to all the teen moms so please don't think I am picking on you.....Please go back to school. Raising a child is very hard. Without an education, you won't get a good job. Without a good job, you won't have the means to support yourself and your child. Get your GED if you can't go to school. Then you could start college in the spring. If you're in school the state will help you with childcare. Also college is nothing like high school. You choose what day you go and the hours you go. Getting your education is the most important thing for you and your little cutie. By the way is that a poutie face in your avi, right after birth? Too cute. Good luck hun. I hope you get to feeling better soon!

i was 16 when i had my first, i'll be 22 this year and i see more young girls plannin a pregnancy at 16. you should share your story with those kind of girls and tell them that its not too smart to plan such a huge responsibility at such a young age.... but good luck with the baby!!!!!!!!!! hugs and kisses!!!
