Is it possible for my boyfriend to hear the babys heartbeat by putting his ear up to my stomach?

Nope.

I just read about this, maybe on BG under the 25 week calendar column ( or somewhere totally random, I don't remember). But I think they said around 25 weeks or so you might be able to hear it from the outside.

Not til you are farther along but its more than likely your heartbeat he hears...

I can't even hear my baby's hearbeat with a stethoscope put to my belly =(. But maybe I'm doing it wrong...

In the movie In The Womb, I think they said it was like 28-29 weeks you can hear it?

I keep making my DH check but he's like- "I hear something... oh, nope, that's just your stomach gurgling" and he can't tell between my heartbeat and his own heartbeat without checking our pulses, so he definitely isn't hearing the baby.

But I'm only 21 weeks, so we may have more waiting to do.

Sandra- where did you find a stethescope? I want to try with one, but I don't know where to buy one.
