UTI again

Ok went to the dr the other day I got another UTI what the hell?? why do I keep getting one well I don't think I ever got rid of it so they switched me to a high antibotic I take it 3 times a day! I never knew how bad these UTI's are till now omg its sucks! I go to the beach next weekend so I hope its gone so I don't end of peeing the whole way down there! Man I pee about 80 times a day not joking!!!

yea one time I had one so bad that I couldn't stand up and it felt like my vag was on fire. It was some horrible pain.I was in tears, literally.

Me too! I just finished stronger antibiotics for one and I still don't know if it's gone! Loading up on cranberry juice I guess

I actually used to get them all the time pre-pregnancy... i haven't gotten once since i became pregnant.. which is odd..! I think it's just because i drink more water and juices now... i used to be a pop feen... hope it gets better!! I know how bad they can get!!!

My sis has been taking meds her whole pregnancy and every time she goes to the doc she still has it. she's 31 weeks.

the salt water might actually help.

i used to get UTI's every other month when i was a kid. they said i had a short urethra so it was easier for bacteria to get in there. i know how you feel. they are uncomfortable. but after a while instead of getting the normal UTI symptoms i just got high fevers. i hope your UTI goes away!!

when I was preggo with my first I always had UTI's they said but they were WRONG the fed my antibiotics over and over again and then my second pregnancy the doctor I seen then said it was normal to have lymphcytes(sp? if that is even the thing) in the urine in pregnancy and same with my last pregnancy I was like that. They sent my urine away for cultures every prenatal visit just to find out I had no infection. My first daughter is resistant to antibiotics and she always has to get different ones or the one time she had to take two. Keep taking your meds but if it is still there next visit ask them to do a culture first.

I think i have that too, Because at the hospital the doctor thought i was 1 cm dliated but when i got transfered they checked and i wasnt. A whole team of doctors took care of me. This is the 4th time ive a uti

i've had so many before I got pregnant. I had one when I first found out but the antibiotics made it go away and I haven't had another one since. Drink a lot of water and unsweetened cranberry juice from now on is my best advice.. just avoid sugar and caffeine as much as you can.

I hate water lol maybe thats why I keep gettin them

yeaah sugar = really really bad for a UTI prone bladder.
it just sticks to the sides of your bladder and makes an infection start.
or atleast that's what my doctor told me.

before i got pregnant i took cranberry pills every day after i had the last one. they seemed to help a lot (prevention wise not treatment wise). but i had stopped taking them because i wasn't sure if they were safe for pregnancy or not.
